About Us

Bukit Bubus was discovered in 2013 and subsequent development was gradually implemented until 2020, to which during the Covid-19 lockdown we started to add more facilities to the flying site.

It has access road to takeoff for any types of vehicle and rest area for pilot to wait for their favourable wind condition.

This site is gazetted as a public recreational area for all walks of life, especially for paragliding enthusiasts to fly and take their family members. The public often visited this site to experience paragliding as a passenger and it is also a popular location for weekend trail hiking entyhusiasts.

The hill is only 85m high from sea level but due to wind condition and its geographical shape, it is easy for beginner pilots as well as experienced pilots to fly and hopping from Bukit Bubus to Bukit Keluang for a higher elevation.

There is no site fee for visiting pilots, however it is recommended to hire the operator’s 4×4 transport vehicle to access the takeoff area to avoid traffic congestion at the hill top due to its limited space near the takeoff area.
